Abstract
This project presents arduino flow meter, an embedded-system concept centered on measurement of fluid flow using pulse or analog sensors and calculation of flow rate and total volume. The input stage uses flow sensor to acquire user commands, physical measurements, or environmental signals. The Arduino-family controller performs signal conditioning, threshold checks, timing, or control logic and then drives the required output stage. The architecture is intended as a compact educational prototype that demonstrates the complete sensing-to-decision-to-action workflow.
The system can be extended with data logging, wireless connectivity, calibration routines, fault handling, and a web or mobile dashboard where appropriate. Practical implementation should use correctly rated drivers, isolated interfaces, regulated power supplies, and application-specific safety limits. For biomedical, safety-critical, mains-voltage, or other regulated applications, the prototype should be treated as an educational platform rather than a certified product.
