Abstract
Brake failure remains a major cause of road accidents. Conventional vehicles often lack continuous real-time monitoring of brake system health beyond basic dashboard warnings. An automatic indicator system enhances safety by providing immediate audible and visual alerts.
This project develops an Automatic Automobile Brake Failure Indicator with Buzzer that uses sensors (pressure, switch or level) to detect abnormal brake conditions such as low fluid, pressure loss or circuit discontinuity. Upon detection, the control circuit activates LED indicators and a buzzer to alert the driver. The unit demonstrates sensor interfacing, signal processing and safety system design suitable for academic evaluation.
It is an excellent final-year project for Mechanical, Automobile, Mechatronics, Electronics and Industrial Engineering students, combining sensing technology, circuit design and practical vehicle safety applications.
